Evangeline Park

Evangeline Park founded Every Student in 2021 as a way to assist parents in helping their children with homework. The experience sparked her passion for education policy, curriculum development, and education reform. Evangeline aspires for many student to experience ESTP's unique curriculum and reconnect with a love for learning.

Shannon Kunz

Shannon is passionate about working with both kids and youth! She is excited to take on the role of Tutor Director where she will facilitate the onboarding of new tutors every quarter. Shannon loves to watch movies and hang out with friends.

Vivian Kim

Vivian is passionate about teaching and loves working with children. As Event Coordination Director, she plans gatherings for the students, families, and tutors in the program. She hopes that the ESTP method will reach many students.

Anya Klingner

Hi! I'm Anya and am a Junior at Homestead High School. In my free time, I enjoy biking, going on walks, and taking pictures of flowers. I like hanging out with my friends, writing/reading, and taking care of my own plants. I usually do most of these while listening to music. I joined the program to get the experience of working with others, and especially love working with children because of their creativity and fun energy. I like tutoring because I get to meet new people and share knowledge in fun ways to help others to better inform themselves.

Adrian Lang

Hi! I’m Adrian (he/him) and I’m a junior. I enjoy ice skating and singing and I’m a part of choir at Homestead. I also love spending time with friends and writing in my free time. I joined this program because I love working with kids and helping them improve their confidence. I like that tutoring allows more personalized help and I’m excited to help kids understand things that they’re struggling with!

Alyssa Miyai

Hello, my name is Alyssa Miyai! I am a junior and some of my hobbies include swimming and reading. I joined the Every Student Tutoring Program because I wanted to help young students and I believe that students should receive a more personalized experience when learning for a better understanding. I enjoy tutoring because I like teaching and interacting with children.

Camille Patricia

Hello! My name is Camille and I am a junior for the 2024-2025 school year! I love to read books, biking at trails or new places and art related things like painting and crafting! I joined the program because I like working with younger kids and I wanna be able to help make school more enjoyable and easier for students! Every student has a different learning path & I wanna be able to guide kids through it to help them through school and build skills all while having a great time! What I like in tutoring is being able to help younger kids learn things at a pace that benefits them the most, helping them obtain that feeling of achievement through learning and understanding!

Helen Grugett

Hello! My name is Helen Grugett and I am a 11th grade student at Homestead High School. I enjoy watching movies, listening to all sorts of music, trying new foods, and learning about other people’s culture and passions! I joined ESTP because I strive to be a part of providing resources for youth in a way that allows them to learn to their full extent and know that it is okay to reach out for support. My favorite thing about tutoring is incorporating psychology to find a system that works well for each individual student, because every human is on a different learning path.

Hi, my name is Emi Hirabayashi! I am a 11th grader and I am super excited to be a tutor at Every Student Tutoring Program. Some of my hobbies include baking, playing basketball, and painting! I joined Every Student Tutoring Program because I have always enjoyed working with kids and I want to positively impact their learning. I know how helpful having a tutor can be, and I am excited to be able to make that same impact on another student.

Hi, my name is Kulsum Shaik. I enjoy swimming, reading, books, and hanging out with my family. I joined the tutoring program to help kids learn in an engaging way which I wish I could've learned like when I used to go to extra classes. I like helping people out in general and being able to help kids understand new things brings me a lot of joy!

Hi! My name is Nicole and I’m a sophomore at Homestead High School. I love tutoring because I have a lot of fun teaching people. In my free time, I’m usually painting, reading, or hanging out with friends. I am a very creative person, but I still love STEM. My favorite school subjects are math, science, and french.

My name is Sarah Meier and I am a junior. I love running, playing tennis, coding games/websites, and analog photography. I joined because I love working with kids and because tutoring really helped me when I was younger. My name is Rianna and I’m currently a junior at Lynbrook High School. I’ve been a competitive gymnast since I could walk, and I play the flute. In my free time, I enjoy journaling and crocheting!

Hi i'm Swarnima, I am a freshmen and I enjoy dancing and playing/listening to music. I love spending time with my friends and drawing. I enjoyed the program because I enjoy working with kids and always enjoy helping others out! Every student has a different need and I hope to fill that need for them as a tutor!

Noemi Liu

Hello, I'm Noemi, currently a junior at Homestead! I remember pretty well how frustrating subjects could be when I was their age, and that's why I'm here to work with your kids. I am aiming to teach students with the support and patience of a teacher and the engaging and empathetic methods of a fellow student. I love exploring, Colorado, and singing with others (don't worry, I'll do my best to refrain from breaking into song with a student). I'm really excited to support your student and learn right along with them!

What I like about tutoring:

I enjoy teaching others and helping them understand things. Even if it sounds tedious, helping people understand by using things they are interested in or passionate about is something I enjoy doing. It makes it feel more worthwhile and memorable.

Caitlin Tan

Hi! My name is Caitlin Tan, I am a Junior at Monta Vista High School. I love dancing and traveling. I joined ESTP because I believe that no student should ever feel like they are at the bottom of the class. I would also love to create new relationships with my students. I personally have had amazing tutors that have helped me out tremendously in the past, and I would love to be able to give back and help others the way I was once helped. I love that having a one-on-one tutor can provide a very personalized and self-paced curriculum.

Hi y’all! My name is Lily Li. I’m a sophomore at Homestead High School, and I’m super hyped to be a part of ESTP! I joined this program because I love working with kids and thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to grow my teaching/communication skills. I’ve never been a formal tutor before, but my favorite thing about teaching is when a student grasps a concept we’ve spent a long time on, and the sense of accomplishment and celebration that follows. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, reading, and playing the piano. I also love hanging out with my friends!

Hi, my name is Renesa! I am currently an eight grader at Lawson Middle School. I play tennis and like to read in my free time. I joined ESTP so I could become a part of the everlasting cycle of teaching and learning. I believe tutors can leave a huge impact on learners and that is one of the reasons I love teaching.

Hi! My name's Cerie and I'm currently a freshman. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, playing volleyball, and trying new foods in different places. I joined ESTP to contribute my efforts to helping younger kids have a better experience while learning. Each kid is different and to those who seek the extra help, I want to be there for them! Tutoring in my opinion is something that not only can help others, it also teaches me as a person to become more flexible and communicative. From my past experiences, seeing a student grow is such a rewarding feeling for both the tutor and the child and I would love to continue that journey!
